Stripper Anora “Ani” Mikheeva is a Russian-speaking dancer at an exclusive Manhattan strip club. She meets Ivan “Vanya” Zakharov, the spoiled and reckless son of a wealthy Russian oligarch. Vanya hires Ani for multiple sex sessions and falls for her. She gets $15,000 to stay with him for a week and pretend to be his girlfriend. Their whirlwind romance culminated in Vanya proposing in Las Vegas. Despite her initial reluctance, Ani agrees once Vanya declares her love. They elope in a little Vegas church.
